EarthSafe Coordinator J. C. Afonso and EarthSafe partner Sanjeev Kumar (EGEC) are invited speakers at the geothermal conference “Unlocking Geothermal Potential in the EU”, organized by members of the European Parliament in Poznan, Poland.
On April 12th 2024, Professor Zdzisław Krasnodębski MEP will host an all-day international event “Unlocking Geothermal Potential in the EU” in the Andersia hotel in Poznań (Poland). The conference will focus on the EU policy and prospects for further development of the geothermal energy in Europe and its different applications. An overview of important European projects is also on the agenda.
By gathering European officials, industry representatives and scholars in Poznań, together with students and young graduates from different universities of the region in the audience, we would like this conference to promote the geothermal sector as an interesting career path for young people in Poland.
