From June 9th to 11th 2025, eight of our DCs joined the ADMOS 2025 (XII International Conference on Adaptive Modeling and Simulation), which took place in Barcelona, Spain. There, they reported progress and preliminary results of their research in the framework of EarthSafe.

The talks each one presented were as follows:

  1. Daniel Aranguren Canal (UT): Exploring Geothermal Energy Potential with Reduced Order Modelling + Joint Probabilistic Inversions.
  2. Luis Tao (UPC): Hyper-Reduction Techniques to Accelerate Probabilistic Inversion Methods of Magnetotelluric Data.
  3. Arijit Chakraborty (DU): Investigating Craton Dynamics and Ore Deposit Formation: For Sustainable Critical Minerals Supply.
  4. Mustafa Ramadan (SISSA): Novel Reduced-Order Models for Stoke’s Problem in Multi-observable Thermochemical Tomography.
  5. Qusain Haider (SISSA): Numerical simulation of the mantle convection.
  6. Ali Jamasb (UT): Model Order Reduction for the Probabilistic Full-Waveform Seismic Inversion.
  7. Nima Hosseinian (UPC): Numerical Modelling of Multiphase Multicomponent Flows: Application to Magma Dynamics.
  8. Mahmud Mukthar (DU): Seismic Super-resolution Leveraging Machine Learning Techniques.

Congratulations to all our DCs who successfully presented at ADMOS 2025!!
